Furneaux Lodge

Picturesque Furneaux Lodge is unique in the Marlborough Sounds with expansive grounds running from the native bush down to the sea. Part of the beauty of this historic destination is the isolation - no roads lead to Furneaux Lodge. Relaxing and peaceful the Lodge is family owned and operated.

Studio Suites

Enjoy the luxury of brand new luxury suites. Echoing the architecture of the original chalets, these contemporary rooms include a separate bedroom and living area, sun decks, private bathroom, and tea and coffee-making facilities.

Chalet

Relax in the self-contained chalets sleeping from 2 to 8 adults (ideal for families), each with its own unique character. For example, Chalet 6 has a grass roof!

Punga Cove Resort

Punga Cove Resort is located on the southern shores of Endeavour Inlet. The resort offers tastefully furnished chalets nestled into the bush-clad hillside, with sun decks giving privacy and superb views across the bay.

Weka Studio Rooms

These are new one bedroom rooms featuring a King bed, living room, ensuite, kitchen area with microwave, toaster, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, TV and CD player - as well as a sundeck with sea views.

Studio Chalet

Studio Chalets have a double bed or two single beds, ensuite bathroom and a deck with sea views. You'll also find tea/coffee making facilities, and a fridge.

Portage Resort Hotel

The Portage Resort Hotel is a contemporary New Zealand resort overlooking Kenepuru Sound. This historic resort has been greeting guests for over 100 years. Rooms are spread throughout the gardens with a range of views, particularly of the spectacular Kenepuru Sound. The Resort is just 10 minutes from Picton by boat or about 75 minutes by sealed road. All hotel rooms have ensuites, colour TV, tea & coffee making facilities, desk and telephones.

Kowhai Lodge Suites

These quiet rooms are off to one side of the grounds. From your balcony you can look across the lawns to Kenepuru Sound.

Hillside Suites

Located in the centre of the resort, these rooms look across the resort to the spectacular Kenepuru Sound. Rooms have a mix of balconies or conservatories.

Courtyard Rooms

Courtyard Rooms have small courtyard gardens, with native plants and striped deck chairs. Enjoy a Super King bed or 2 singles. These rooms have limited or no views.
