Introduction

Located at The Kenepuru Store, in Portage Bay, The Portage Adventure Centre is managed and operated by Marlborough Sounds Adventure Co. (MSAC).

We are a Picton based adventure tourism company with a 20 year history providing activities in the Marlborough Sounds.

The quality of our experiences has been recognised with many awards, most recently with the 2007 NZ Tourism Award for Best Leisure Activity.

The Portage Adventure Centre operates under MSAC's code of practice and operations plan and is staffed by our crew from 1 November to 30 April each year.

Prices

All prices include gst.

All prices quoted are ex Portage Bay.

Additional water transfers can be organized where required.

We have eftpos facilities on site and accept Visa or Mastercard.

Hours

1 November to 30 April – 9.00am to 4.30pm (other times by arrangement).

1 May to 31 October – please see the crew at The Kenepuru Store, Portage Bay.

On occasion the centre may be closed due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

To ensure availability we recommend pre-booking your activity.

All rental will require a bond using a Visa or Mastercard.

We have a detailed cancellation policy.

Age restrictions do apply to some activities.

The Portage Adventure centre is based at The Kenepuru Store next door to The Portage Resort Hotel, 10 minutes by boat from Picton.
